You are invited to participate in two live webinars being hosted by Teepa Snow in July! These interactive and engaging webinars are an opportunity for you to talk with Teepa and to ask her any questions you may have. Don’t miss out!
The first webinar is Saturday, July 15th and the topic is ‘Creating Pleasure for Emeralds’.
Time: 9 - 11 am EST
Cost: $20 (includes access to the recording)
The GEMS® Dementia Classification model encourages us to get curious about the stages of brain change by focusing on the abilities that are present versus what is lost. It provides us with the dynamic assessment of where people are, what they need, and what is possible. This allows us to meet them where they are and change our own behavior to better meet their needs.
You will learn how to:
Simplify tasks for a person living with dementia without ‘babifying’.
Set yourself and the person living with dementia up for success by using real pieces of the person’s life in bite-size chunks.
Enhance your interaction skills with people living with dementia.
Learn to appreciate the many changes that people living with dementia experience that may affect many different aspects of life.

The second webinar is Monday, July 17th and the topic is ‘Frontal-Temporal Dementia: What Is It and How to Help’.
Time: 10 -11:30 am EST
Cost: $20 (includes access to the recording)
This webinar is part of a series that will help you gain awareness and knowledge of various forms and types of brain changes that are related to dementia. It will explore the combination of frontal lobe and temporal lobe conditions. Traditionally referred to as Pick’s disease, this combination can create some of the most amygdala driven relationships among people who are involved with the person living with the condition.
Learn with Teepa Snow as she discusses supportive strategies to help everyone involved optimize safety and well-being while still seeing the person on the other side as valuable.
Space is limited! Click this link to register today!
