Our blogging team is comprised of five strong PAC Certified individuals who work to keep you up to date with PAC questions and ideas.   Each week, you will find a new blog post from one of of these PAC savvy team members.  Please comment on the blogs or our Facebook page to join the discussion or let us know what you'd like to read about in upcoming selections

Kate Drexler
PAC Certified Consultant

Kate is this year's contributor for the PAC Certified Consultant component of the blog. Kate currently works as a Healthy Aging and Dementia Care Consultant in the Sea-to-Sky Corridor (which extends from Vancouver to Whistler, Canada). 

Liz Garant
PAC Certified Trainer

Liz is this year's contributor to the PAC Certified Trainer blog. She is a nurse who has worked in Long Term Care for over 8 years. She specializes in working with people living with dementia, mental health and substance abuse related behaviours.

Pat Durham
PAC Certified Trainer &
Certified Engagement
Leader

Pat is one of this year's contributors to the PAC Certified Trainer and Engagement Leader blog. She is a Certified NCCAP Activity Professional and was awarded Wisconsin Activity Professional of the Year 2016. 

Pat is a Regional Lead Life Enrichment Director overseeing six Life Enrichment Directors and is the Life Enrichment Director of a campus comprising of Independent Living, Assisted Living and two Memory Care Units. 

 

Rosanne Burke
PAC Certified Trainer

Rosanne is a contributor for the PAC Certified Trainer section of the blog.  She joined the PAC team in 2016. She is the owner of Keji Consulting, a dementia training business and also does marketing and social media support for small business owners. Rosanne is a care partner to her father who has vascular dementia. 

Lori Britton
PAC Certified Trainer and Certified Coach

Lori is this year’s contributor to the Internal PAC Blog.

She joined the PAC team in 2014. She is a Board Certified NAAPCC Activity Professional and has spent the last twenty years serving seniors.

 

For seven years she and her dog buddy worked as a team. They achieved the Delta Society Pet Partners Certification. He has since passed.  For a short stint Lori was a Volunteer Coordinator for Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Stable in Woodinville, WA. She saw the amazing power animals have on persons living with disabilities.

 

In 2012 Lori became a Certified Geriatric Wellness Instructor (Train Your Brain Instructor) from Dr. Rob Winningham , MS, Phd who is from the University Oregon.  In the last two years she has become a PAC Certified Instructor and Coach. Currently owns her own teaching and consulting business.


Lori is very dedicated to advocating for those that can't, human or four legged!  She is ready to make a change, one being at a time!
